Charlotte Chilton says Conor Maynard is STILL ‘not in touch’ but she’ll ‘suck it up’ if unborn child wants relationship
THE Traitors star Charlotte Chilton says her unborn child’s dad Conor Maynard is STILL “not in touch” – despite keeping him up to date throughout her pregnancy.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday, Charlotte told how the Can’t Say No singer turned against her when she told him she was pregnant with their child.
After attempts to involve him since, Charlotte has told ITV‘s Loose Women she’s not heard from him.
However, she hasn’t ruled out allowing her unborn child to have a relationship with him in future, saying: “I’ll suck it up and put her first”.
Asked by presenter Linda Robson on the panel show today: “Are you still in touch with the baby’s father?”, Charlotte replied: “I’m in touch, he’s not.”
“See this is a really tricky question. I’m really torn with what’s best for her”, she added when asked if she wants Conor to be part of the child’s life.
“For me and my mental health and the damage he’s done to me… Absolutely not. I wouldn’t want that.
“But I’m an adult and I understand what I’ve entered into here.
“If that’s how it has to be then I have to suck it up and put her first.
“I would like it for her at some point in her life. I don’t think there’s really much point at this stage.
“In the future maybe, that might be nice for her. It’s got to be all Penelope’s decision, not mine.”
Loose Women approached Conor for comment, but has said previously “this is Charlotte’s story”.
Charlotte, 32 previously described Conor as “a real-life traitor who betrayed me”.
It’s after she fell pregnant from their one-night stand following a champagne-fuelled wrap party for the second series of Claudia Winkleman’s BBC murder mystery game.
Charlotte was introduced to TikToker Conor by The Traitors winner Harry Clark.
Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, Charlotte said: “We had a great night together and even sent Harry a selfie of us in bed saying, ‘Successful match’.

Conor’s brother Jack is a YouTuber who appeared on I’m A Celebrity back in 2017 before quitting the jungle amid a fallout over homophobic and racist tweets.

“He turned on me, I felt pressured into keeping his identity as the father a secret.
“He told me, ‘I’m not ready to be a dad. It’s nothing against you, Charlotte, but even if we’d been together three years, I would be the exact same. I do not want to have a child. That’s why I haven’t got a dog’.
“It was so stressful that doctors twice put me on bed rest. I thought I was going to miscarry.”
