In a four-minute video, Jules told his followers how he had been “perfecting his skills” learning to make fine furniture.

The craftsman explained that his journey was continuing as he had teamed up with his local reclamation yard, in Hereford, to sell some of his wares.

Captioning his post, the TV star wrote: “Well Folks, alongside a busy summer filming Escape to the Country, I’m very excited to announce my collaboration with my favourite reclamation yard here in Hereford, #warehouse701.

“As part of their own imaginative re-launch they are also providing retail space for a number of local artisans and makers including me!

“I’m really looking forward to furnishing it with lots of handmade homeware goodies, big and small for you to come and see.

“Hopefully my store will be up and running by the Autumn, and I can’t wait to share it with you.”

He added: “In the meantime here’s a taste of what will be on offer, once it’s all done, but I’ve clearly got a lot to make! But that’s ok, because #makingmakesmehappy.

“In the meantime check out warehouse 701 for yourselves either in person or online, and the coffee is fantastic! Stay tuned for updates! Jx”

One excited fan wrote: “Have never been more proud to see an idea come into the world. Well done.

“Don’t forget the packaging so that you can ship. Well done Creative!”

Another added: “Wishing you the very best of luck in your new venture!! Sounds fantastic!!!!”

It comes as Jules has had a difficult number of years after experiencing three tragic losses close together.

Jules’ dad Clifford tragically passed away aged 93 back in 2022, leaving presenter devastated.

Clifford’s death left his son ‘struggling to grieve’ as he remembered his father with a touching tribute.

The presenter said: “He was a great guy, I loved him to bits. When you are trying to steer your loved ones through the final stages of their lives, it is really challenging and it’s very emotional.”

He suffered two more losses in the form of his beloved pet dogs to cancer.

Speaking about his labradors’ deaths, he previously said: “You absolutely can put the death of a pet on a par with people.

“They are a huge part of our lives.”
