Texas' South Padre Island reports shark attacks; 2 people bitten

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas: Two people were taken to hospital with bites, one severely, after being attacked by sharks at South Padre Island during the Fourth of July celebrations.

Police were called after the attack on a man who was severely bitten around 11 a.m., according to Nikki Soto, the South Padre Island city secretary.
