Toronto's Mary Martin helped champion Canadian music legends before they were famous

Mary Martin, a Toronto music lover, gained influence in rock and country music over the course of five decades in a male-dominated industry as a key conduit and artist whisperer. Martin died last week in Tennessee at 85.
