Buffalo-based New Era to partner with all 32 NHL teams

The Buffalo Sabres have already had a relationship with New Era, which dates back to the 1990s.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo-based cap and sports apparel company New Era has announced that it will partner with the NHL and all 32 of its teams beginning with the 2024-25 NHL season.

The multi-year agreement will allow New Era to distribute apparel globally.

The Buffalo Sabres have already had a relationship with New Era, which dates back to the 1990s. The company has picked up other NHL teams over time as well.

“This partnership brings together two global brands, working together to grow a global game,” said New Era CEO Christopher Koch in a release. "While we have been working with individual clubs for decades, we are excited for our new agreement with the League and look forward to creating special moments for fans and players in North America and around the world.”

Collections in the coming months will include vintage team logos as well as Winter Classic and Stadium Series logos.
