The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook Monday for southwest Arkansas, northern Louisiana, eastern Texas, and southeast Oklahoma. Beryl made landfall as a category 1 hurricane this morning, bringing strong winds and a threat of flash flooding. But Beryl will likely be remembered for the number of quick spin-up tornadoes it produced; a historic 67 tornado warnings were issued across National Weather Service Shreveport's coverage area.

SWEPCO warned that high winds from the storm would affect their coverage area, and they will continue to monitor the weather as it moves through the ArkLaTex.

This is a developing story. Watches and warnings will be updated as information becomes available.
