Weather warning issued for storms on Wednesday

The Met office has issued a yellow warning for Wednesday, warning of isolated thunderstorms and possible hail.

The warning will be in effect from noon until 5pm.

“Isolated strong thunderstorms are expected to affect mountainous areas and possibly inland regions,” the Met office said.

It also added that rainfall intensity is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimetres per hour.
