Rockin' on the River concert in Troy postponed

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The second show for Rockin’ on the River in Troy has been postponed due to inclement weather, said the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District. The show has been postponed from Wednesday, July 10 to Wednesday, July 17.

According to Meteorologist Matt Mackie, the remnants of Hurricane Beryl will push towards the area on July 10, bringing potential heavy rain downpours in the afternoon. To the south and west of Albany, there is the potential for some severe weather including gusty winds and even an isolated tornado.

The rescheduled concert features Hot Cousin with the Albany Rock Pit Showcase Band and the Chris Busone Band. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. in Riverfront Park.

The other two concerts for the 2024 Rockin' on the River lineup are Blues for Breakfast with Side B on July 24 and Crash My Party (The Ultimate Luke Bryan Tribute Band) with Joe Adee & The Lug Nuts on August 7. Skeeter Creek with Road Soda Pop performed for the first concert on June 26.
