Kelly Clarkson Reportedly Put the Feelers Out for a Date With This A-list Actor

Kelly Clarkson has been hesitant about jumping back into the dating pool after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, but she might have someone in mind. The man isn’t any ordinary guy, he just happens to be one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors and he recently appeared on her daytime talk show. 

The 42-year-old pop star is reportedly “crushing” on Kevin Costner “big time” after he appeared on her June 24 show, according to a Life & Style insider. Their “instant” chemistry was popping off the screen during his visit to promote Horizon: An American Saga. The body language alone might hint that there’s something special between them. Costner kept nervously running his fingers through his hair while Clarkson gushed about his movie and artistry — it was a meet-cute moment!

In March, Clarkson revealed that she was enjoying her single-gal life. “I am really loving not having a man in my life,” she told guest Hoda Kotb. “It’s just too hard, it’s too much.” But times change, and the further away she gets from her Blackstock divorce, the more open she might be to love. Costner is also new to divorce after splitting with his ex, Christine Baumgartner, in 2023. It might be the perfect time for them both.

Costner was linked to singer Jewel late last year, but he’s since cleared up the dating confusion. “Jewel and I are friends,” Costner explained to Howard Stern in mid-June. “We’ve never gone out, ever. She’s fantastic, she’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. She’s special… She’s everything you might think, but it just hasn’t happened.”
