Dartford FC would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to groundsman Jay Berkhauer who is leaving after five seasons.

Jay has not only ensured our pitch looks pristine, but has overseen the upkeep of the grounds and golf course, too.

On Saturday, in the new Skinners Bar after the Charlton match, he was presented with a token of the club’s and supporters’ appreciation by chairman Steve Irving.

Jay will be taking up a position at Sidcup Rugby Club shortly, while DFC will appoint a new groundsman in the next couple of weeks.
