'The Conjuring' Universe to End With Final Film, Release Date Details Revealed
The Conjuring universe is coming to an end.
Warner Bros. and New Line have announced the final film in the franchise, which has grossed $2.1 billion from eight movies over the past 11 years. The franchise began with The Conjuring in 2013 followed by the Annabelle and The Nun spin-offs. There was also the spin-off film The Curse of La Llorona in 2019, though it was not considered an official installment in the franchise.
The fourth and final The Conjuring film has now been given a release date.

The movie is set to be released in theaters on September 5, 2025. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson starred in the last three Conjuring movies, but their casting has not yet been confirmed for the finale.
Variety reports that the upcoming Conjuring movie will be released in both regular theaters and IMAX screens.
The fourth movie was announced back in October 2022 and a franchise veteran is writing the script.
