Multiple suspects sought for laundromat robberies in New York City: NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Police are searching for multiple suspects in connection to laundromat robberies across New York City between March and July.

Police say the suspects have stolen coin machines, merchandise, property, and cash from registers, and fled in vehicles with stolen plates.

The most recent robbery happened at the Susan Laundromat at 85-12 Grand Avenue in Queens on June 24, according to the NYPD. Three suspects broke into the business, stole $1,800 in cash and a payment machine.

The robberies occur overnight or in the early hours and involve three or four masked individuals, police said.

There have been 41 robberies in total, according to the NYPD. The robberies occurred in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Police have released a surveillance image of one of the suspects captured during the robbery on June 24.
