WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a 46-year-old man died of a suspected overdose in Georgetown, the agency said in a news release Tuesday.

On Monday, the WCSO Organized Crime Unit (OCU) responded to the call for a "suspected overdose death" at 1221 Winding Way in Georgetown, the release said. When deputies arrived, they found the man dead. Officials are not identifying him at this time, as they are notifying the next of kin, according to WCSO.

This was the third time the OCU responded to this same address for "overdose incidents," the release said.

"The growing number of overdose incidents at this location is deeply concerning. We are committed to combating the illegal drug trade and tackling the opioid crisis. As a result, diligent efforts will be made through the Attorney General's Office, the County Attorney's Office, and the District Attorney's Office to abate or seize these properties," WCSO Sheriff Mike Gleason said in the release.

During the investigation, deputies "seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine from the residence," according to WCSO. Additionally, one person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, the release said.

This case remains under investigation by WCSO, the release said. If anyone has any information regarding this case, they can call the tip line at 512-943-1170 or by email at drug-humantraffickinginfo@wilco.org.
