Walsall shooting victim named locally after broad daylight murder as police get extra powers

The victim of a 'shocking' broad daylight shooting in Walsall has been named locally by residents of the area as police announce extra powers to investigate the murder.

Tributes to a man in his 20s who was shot dead in broad daylight on Well Lane, Blakenall, in Walsall, has been named locally as Connor Brookes.
