Julia Fox knows that one measly 30-day month at the beginning of summer isn’t enough time to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride, so she took it upon herself to extend the celebration. In a TikTok video posted on July 8, the actor, niche pop act, and downtown “It” girl appeared to come out as a lesbian. Fox shared a stitched clip of user @emgwaciedawgie’s viral video in which the content creator named Gracin jokes, “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like, ‘Aww, you hate that man.’” Apparently, the Uncah Jehms star saw herself in the joke. “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again,” Fox said when the clip cut to a video of her talking into the camera as she walked down the streets of New York.

It’s not the first time she has given us insight into her relationships. Just two months ago, Fox revealed in a TikTok comment that she has been celibate for two and a half years and has “never been better.” In an interview with Ziwe, the satirical-talk-show host and comedian, Fox said she’s down to learn more about her sexuality. “I do think maybe I have a gay bone, and I need to explore that a little bit more,” Fox said in 2022. “Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends weren’t wrong when they were calling me a lesbian and complaining that I never wanted to have sex with them.”

With Fox’s latest comments, the original TikTok creator had reason to cheer. “I guess i just facilitated julia fox coming out IM SO JULIAAAAAAA,” Gracin captioned an Instagram post of Fox’s stitched video, referencing lyrics from “360” by Charli XCX and Fox’s casting in its accompanying music video. Brat summer and Pride summer go hand in hand after all.
