FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Tuesday evening!

Beryl has weakened into a Post-Tropical Cyclone as it continues to push north into the Midwest and Great Lakes. Spotty showers & storms are moving into Central Ohio this evening with more rain on the way for the rest of tonight.

Central Ohio has seen a handful of spotty showers and one or two storms so far. Going into the hours closer to sundown, we could see a little more rain develop, especially for areas west of I-71. There is the chance to see strong to severe weather going into tonight. It remains at a 1/5 level risk with the primary threats being strong winds and the possibility of an isolated, brief tornado.

Most of the rain from Beryl will move in shortly after midnight. Scattered showers will stay steady for several hours with the chance for more storms to develop. As the sun rises on Wednesday, skies will already start to get drier with spotty chances for rain remaining throughout the day.

Temperatures will struggle to get warmer on Wednesday. Overnight, we're falling into the lower 70s. As the circulation around Beryl moves to our north/northeast through Wednesday, it will drag in cooler air from the north and plant it in Central Ohio. We'll only make it to the mid 70s tomorrow.

Sunshine and warmer weather progressively moves in as the remainder of the week goes on. By the weekend, we're back in the lower 90s. Spotty chances for showers & storms return for the first half of next week.
