The Darts will take on Ashford United in an additional friendly added to Ady Pennock’s pre-season schedule.

Danny Kedwell’s team visit Princes Park on 20 July, 2024, with a 1pm kick-off.

Like Ady, Kedwell has had a busy summer, adding a number of players to his squad, including former Manchester Utd and Millwall star Lee Martin, before their Isthmian South East campaign kicks off next month.

And Ady is delighted to put another competitive home match into the calendar as he continues to work his new-look squad hard before the first league match.

He said: “I felt we needed another friendly and also another home match, as I wanted the new players to get used to playing here.

“With Sevenoaks pulling out, another competitive game was important.

“As everyone knows, I know their manager Danny very well and he agreed to it straight away.

“He was great about it and I can’t wait to see him next Saturday. It will be a good test.”

Darts play Margate away in their next friendly on 16 July, followed by Ashford United at home on 20 July and Gillingham at home on 23 July. Home games against Sutton United on 27 July and 3 August against Boreham Wood, complete the pre-season programme.
