Michael Jackson’s reclusive son Blanket, 22, looks elated as he charges his blue Tesla in LA during rare public outing
MICHAEL Jackson’s youngest son has been spotted in a rare public outing.
Bigi Jackson, formerly called Blanket, was seen charging his blue Tesla in Los Angeles in recent pictures.
The 22-year-old looked elated as he charged his Tesla Model Y in Calabasas Tuesday morning.
Bigi, who changed his name in 2015, wore a Star Wars graphic tee and athletic shorts for the casual outing.
The sighting is rare as Bigi is the most private out of Michael Jackson’s three kids.
Born via surrogate in 2002 and named Prince Michael Jackson II, Blanket was shown off to the world when MJ infamously dangled the nine-month-old boy over the balcony of a Berlin hotel room.
Michael nicknamed his youngest son Blanket based on an expression he used with his family.
“A blanket is a blessing, it’s a way of showing love and caring,” he said in an interview.
While Bigi was born via surrogate, Michael had Paris and Prince with his second wife, Debbie Rowe.
Bigi’s older brother Prince, 27, was born as Michael Joseph Prince Jackson Jr. on on February 13, 1997.
Prince was just 12 when his dad died. He’s gone on to become an actor and producer.
MJ’s middle child, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, was born on April 3, 1998.
Paris, 26, is a singer, model, and actress who released a single called Bandaid in February of 2023.
The three children grew up at their dad’s Neverland Ranch in California, which has recently been revamped for filming the upcoming biopic about the late King of Pop’s life.
Michael’s nephew Jaafar, 27, will star in the movie Michael, which comes out in 2025.
After the singer’s death in 2009, the kids went to live with their grandma, Katherine Jackson.

He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
- Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson also went the entertainment route as a model, actress, and singer. She was featured in the 2018 action film, Gringo and the 2021 comedy, The Space Between. Paris has a contract with IMG Models and released her first album, Wilted, in 2020.
- Prince Michael Jackson II, also known as Blanket or Bigi, maintains his privacy away from the limelight. He is said to enjoy martial arts and is passionate about climate change.
Michael’s former lawyer revealed to The U.S. Sun in a recent interview that the late star had dreams of performing with his kids.
“Michael wanted to play with his children, sing and dance with them, and had all kinds of dreams of performing with them live,” Michael’s friend and family lawyer Brian Oxman said.
“And they would be the stars of his show. He would put his children first.”
