It was previously revealed that the soap would tackle the hard-hitting storyline as well as launching a digital-only spin-off series to go alongside it.

On the BBC soap, Anna’s night seems to get off to a good start as she glams up with sister Gina.

During the episodes, questions surrounding Anna’s romance with Bobby will be discussed as Gina think she may be better suited to Freddie, whom she previously enjoyed a fling with.

However as they continue to get ready for their big night out, organised by Felix, Anna confesses that Bobby is the man for her and that she has no romantic interest in Freddie.

As the big gang of friends make it to the club, the drinks are flowing and the dance moves are busted out.

However, the group will soon become concerned for Anna when her behaviour begins to spiral out of control.

As reality soon begins to set in for Anna’s pals, they question why Anna was acting in that way despite not having had much to drink.

They begin to suspect she has been spiked but as they search for her on the dancefloor, she is nowhere to be seen.

As her friends continue to search for her, EastEnders fans next see Anna when she wakes up in hospital having been spiked.

Eventually, she makes her way back to The Vic and Gina begs her to tell the police what has happened.

Anna declines and says that she doesn’t want it to go any further.

Eventually, Freddie arrives to offer his support to Anna following the ordeal.

He aims to help Gina in supporting Anna as well as being a comforting touch to her in the wake of the shock spiking.

But will Anna decide to report the spiking to the cops or not?
