STRICTLY fans are convinced ANOTHER professional dancer is coming back to the show in a shock u-turn.

It comes after it was revealed yesterday that Aljaz Škorjanec is set to make a comeback to the ballroom for the next series.

One of his former co-stars Kevin Clifton took to Instagram to congratulate the dancer for his return – and some think that he could be next.

The 41-year-old shared a snap of the pair together with a touching caption.

Kevin wrote: “Very excited fot the return of my boy @aljazskorjanec to @bbcstrictly.

“A winner in his first year, great dancer, great teacher and a lovely guy Can’t wait to watch.”

Many fans rushed to say the same thing in the comments section.

One said: Come on King Kevin…..we’re waiting on you returning too .”

“Let’s hope u come back soon to Kevin,” another chimed in.

A third added: “Your turn to come back now then Kevin. Reckon if they did a poll asking whos the favourite pro of all time you would win it hands down!”

A fourth confessed: “Delighted he is coming back and it would be a double delight if you Kevin also returned.”

A fifth said: “They need to ask you back @bbcstrictly.”

Kevin appeared on the BBC dance show between 2012 and 2019.

He made the reveal that he was leaving in March 2020.

Over the years he had been partnered with Susanna Reid, Frankie Bridge, Kellie Bright, Louise Redknapp and Stacey Dooley.

He won the show with Stacey in 2018 and ended up falling for each other – and now have a daughter called Minnie.

Kevin and pro dancer Karen Hauer married in 2015 but split in March 2018.

Fans are keen for Kevin to follow in Aljaz’s footsteps.

After two years away, the BBC has confirmed that the dancer will be making a triumphant return to the programme.

Speaking about making the big return to the programme, Aljaz, 34, said: “I could not be more ecstatic to be back with the Strictly family! This year is such a special one for this legendary show.

“I can’t wait to be a part of it and make my return to the dancefloor.

“I had an absolute ball during my nine year stint on Strictly, during my time away I became a parent, which has been an exciting challenge in itself and now I’m ready to experience the Strictly magic again.

“It feels so right to be coming back, I missed the fun, glitter and the judges of course and I hope to make my daughter Lyra proud!”

His Janette Manrara stepped down from her role on Strictly as a pro dancer to take up a hosting role on spin-off show It Takes Two.
