Love Island fans spot ‘real reason’ Hugo wants to dump Jess after he reveals he’s checked out of ‘dry’ relationship
LOVE Island fans have claimed they know why Hugo Godfroy wants to dump Jess White after he admitted has has checked out of their relationship.
The pair met in Casa Amor with electrician Hugo sweeping Jess off her feet.
Before that original girl Jess hadn’t had the best of luck in the ITV2 villa.
The retail manager from Stockport constantly butted heads with Brighton beauty Hariett Blackmore over footballer Ronnie Vint.
Jess, 25, eventually ended the love triangle but not before firing some parting shots at Harriett, telling her and Ronnie “I’m the prize”.
She then entered a friendship couple with Joey Essex and in the meantime, got into arguments with Patsy and Matilda.
Jess later jumped on Trey when he entered as a bombshell but they soon got the ick with each other and both returned from Casa Amor with new partners.
Last night Hugo told the boys: “I haven’t felt myself the last day and a half. I think maybe the way things are going with me and Jess I feel like conversation is a bit dry.
“When I meet someone and it clicks, it clicks, you shouldn’t have to feel like you have to go and talk to someone.
“It’s a harsh thing to say but it’s a boredom thing. I don’t want to lead the girl on, I really done. I feel like I’ve sold her the dream, that’s not what I wanted to do. I tried to pursue it. I’ve not faked anything bro, I wanted it to work.”
Meanwhile, Jess told Grace in last night’s episode: “It’s really good. Obviously it’s still early days.”
Fans praised the editing and called the moment “karma” for Jess.
