Kathua ambush: 24 detained as search operation for terrorists continues in dense forests of J-K

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have detained 24 individuals for questioning in connection with an ambush in Kathua district that resulted in the deaths of five army personnel. The search operation, now in its third day, involves army and police forces across four districts and faces challenges from dense forests and heavy rain. Additional operations are ongoing in Udhampur, Samba, Rajouri, Poonch, and Doda. The National Investigation Agency is assisting in the probe.
