The show is described as a mash up of Love Island and Married At First Sight

Broadcaster e4 launched its most shocking dating show yet – Love Triangle – back in 2023.

At the time, we reported we reported how ex-boxer David Haye’s throuple seemingly inspired the format.

Now The Sun can exclusively report the action will return to screens as the channel predicts a “supersized smash.”

A source was quick to tell The Sun: “Love Triangle was a big success for E4 and just the kind of show that fits their brand.

“It’s from the makers of Married At First Sight and is like a cross between that and Love Island, so bosses really want to bring it back.

“They have already started casting for a second series and are looking for the sexiest singles ever.

“They believe the show has the potential to be bigger than ever the second time around and really grow into a supersized smash.”

The Sun has approached Channel 4 for comment.

Love Triangle’s debut series saw six single people spending 48 hours texting two suitors, before choosing one for a blind date.

They then moved in together.

Yet it wasn’t happily ever after – as the reject then moved in too, sparking one love triangle under the same roof.

The programme first launched in Australia and was developed by the creatives behind Married At First Sight.

Yet not all viewers were pleased first time around.

They pleaded for Love Triangle bosses to “try harder” as they blasted the “rip off” dating series.

This came despite the fact the series kicked off with a blazing row between the stars.

And one particularly randy show star was first to tell The Sun how bosses banned him from taking a fourth lover.
