A WAVE of compliments follows a woman who has perfected her method for applying fragrances.
She revealed the perfumes that she uses and at which stage they are applied in her beauty routine.
She shared her tips on Reddit’s The Girl Survival Guide forum, which has over 425,000 members.
POWERFUL PERFUMES
The conversation began when a 21-year-old woman asked how she could start to smell as good as other girls.
The woman responded by saying that she “loves” being complimented on how she smells and revealed what she uses.
“Truth is, I wear a ton of fragrance,” she said, writing under the handle Octobertwins.
“I start with a Bath and Body Works lotion (A Thousand Wishes is the scent and it is amazing).
“Then I spray my whole body down with the same body spray.
“After I’m dressed, I spray on perfume (Dolce and Gabbana, The One).
“I spray my neck, wrists, behind my knees, and then just do some all-over sprays.”
She revealed that the lotion is reapplied to her skin before spritzing the perfume a second time.
“I know it sounds like a lot, and most will say I’m probably choking people out, but it’s more subtle than it sounds,” she said.
“My mom is very sensitive to perfume smells and reports no problem with my smell.
“When I join a group, someone will usually say something like, ‘Wow, who smells so good?’
“It really makes me feel great.”
She raved that Bath and Body Works products combined with Dolce and Gabbana’s The One perfume is “absolutely lovely.”
She encouraged the 21-year-old to try it for herself.
