You almost want to give Drake credit for continuing to challenge GOATs despite knowing how poorly it’s going to end for him. Then you remember he never seems to learn and it becomes much easier to point and laugh.

After watching Kendrick Lamar thoroughly and methodically tarnish his reputation over the last few months, the Canadian hip hop mogul went back to his other hobby: placing horrible bets with way too much confidence.

This time it was a $300,000 wager on Canada to defeat Argentina in the Copa América semifinal to win a shade over $2.8 million — although the bet was placed on the Stake app Drake partners with, so take this all with a huge grain of salt.

Considering Canada is No. 48 on the FIFA rankings and Argentina just won the World Cup, you’d think Drake would know better than to taunt the champs, but nope. He went straight after their superstar in announcing the wager.
