Intuit to lay off 1,800 employees, labels 1,050 as ‘underperformers’

Global financial company Intuit, which owns TurboTax, Quickbooks, MailChimp, and more, announced Wednesday that it’s laying off 1,800 employees, or about 10 percent of its workforce.
