Keke Palmer’s Son Leo Is ‘Feeling Fly’ as He Adorably Dances to Live Music in a Balenciaga T-Shirt
Keke Palmer brought a very special guest to Essence Fest in New Orleans this weekend: her 16-month-old son Leo! The toddler even gave an adorable update about his trip, complete with a cute video of him dancing to live music in a tiny Balenciaga t-shirt.
“Let me tell you how my first Essence Fest was!” baby Leo “wrote” on a new Instagram post, run by his mom. He looks super happy in the first picture, as he “love[s] plane rides (most of the time).” But the second picture, Leo is really getting his groove on. He walks along a sidewalk in a blue Balenciaga t-shirt, orange shirt, and white sneakers, heading straight toward a band playing. He gets close, then stops to bounce his knees and move his body.
“Nola is good for some live music, and I loooove music. I think I’d like to play the drums!” Palmer-as-Leo wrote in the caption. She shared another photo of him smiling and dancing with his hands clenched in the air. “I was having so much fun! And feeling flyyyy,” the caption read. How adorable is he?! And he’s looking more like his mama every day.
The Nope actress shared more highlights from their trip, including a video of Leo riding on the back of a golf cart on his mom’s lap, a picture of him playing with cars before his mom’s book signing, and a picture of him in just a diaper with a bottle of water held up to his lips. “Yup, that’s me. Naked in Domenica’s because I was soooo hot!” the photo was captioned.
Leo shows off his rhythm in another video, this time as he sits on the bed watching a YouTube video. Finally, the trip was over and the family took a private plane back home, where Leo passed out on a bed with his mom. “Exhausted but on time, discipline is everything,” the photo was captioned. “She’s teaching me early ????????” Seriously, what could be better?
“You are my best little buddy Leo! Mommy loves you soooo much ????” the Password host commented on her son’s picture.
“This baby is so in sync with music. ????” one person wrote. “Keke’s twin, smile and everything,” someone else said. “He’s so handsome!????❤️ He was into his show … that’s how I am, too.????” another commented.
Palmer shares Leo with estranged ex Darius Jackson. The toddler is so happy, often caught dancing (he clearly inherited his musical talent and boundless energy from his famous mama!). In fact, earlier this month, Palmer shared a video of her son watching her in the studio, bouncing along and cheering for her when she finished.
“From rehearsals to the stage I made sure my mommy was ready for her performance!” the post from Leo’s Instagram read. ““Thanks for listening to my critiques,” the caption continued. “You did almost as good as I would have ????????”
