Originally, the skincare fan took to Reddit to ask for tips of getting rid of a crepey neck.

But when she shared a selfie of herself and revealed she’s 72-years-old people wanted her tips instead.

Amazingly, the beauty lover confessed she doesn’t have a regime full of pricey products.

“I really don’t have one. Just sunblock and moisturizer. Nothing at night, usually,” she said.

She also explained that she’s always been a very active person and prioritised getting a lot of exercise.

“I’ve been weight training since I was 33, still do it, she added.

She also advised to “stay out of the sun” and even then to still always use a good SPF.

Not only that, but she revealed she never forks out for high end brands when it comes to makeup and skincare.

“I only use drugstore products, different moisturizers,” she said.

Part of her secret for longer so much younger is keeping the grey hairs at bay with dye.

Replying to one comments she said: “Oh, I dye the hair. Not ready for grey, although I like it on some.”

Meanwhile, others still couldn’t believe how young she looked.

One wrote: “You look 20 years younger than your actual age. You are doing just fine!”

A second agreed: “Um, crepey neck?!!! This has to be a joke. There’s no way this woman is 72.”

“Damn. I don’t know if you’re giving me hope or making me depressed lol you look amazing, wow,” someone else said.

And other chimed in to share their tips for a crepy neck, not agreed she didn’t need to do anything at all.

For a “crepey” neck, consider moisturiser and use creams with hyaluronic acid, peptides, or retinol.

“Apply sunscreen daily, gently exfoliate to improve texture, seek laser therapy, microneedling, or chemical peels and stay hydrated, eat well, and avoid smoking.”

The importance of sun cream in your skincare routine

Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez - known as Dr Dray - revealed why you should wear suncream.

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this matters for all ages – is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.

“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you’re “not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday”.

“If you’re not doing in your 20s, get on that now.”

But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.

Doing this over your lifetime – and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days – “will reduce the visible signs of photoageing”, Andrea said.

Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.
