The Sun can exclusively reveal that Martin and Jacqui will be appearing on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip together.

The pair, who are pals on and off screen, will take to the road and travel across the UK while hunting out treasures.

They will each have a budget of £200 and antique experts will be on hand help them try to find the best items for their buck.

Martin and Jacqui will then go head-to-head at auction and whoever makes the most money will be crowned the winner.

An insider said: “Martin and Jacqui can’t wait to take part in Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

“They work really well together on Homes Under The Hammer and are really excited to go head-to-head in the auction room.

“It’s a great move for Martin especially, as he is really enjoying the chance to spread his wings and try out different shows after his health scare.”

Two years ago, Martin was rushed to hospital with chest pains and he almost died.

He underwent life-saving surgery after he was diagnosed with pericardial effusion – fluid around the heart which can lead to organ failure.

Now back on his feet, Martin is enjoying throwing himself into work again.

Two weeks ago, it was reported that the 60-year-old telly star has signed up for another massive BBC show.

He is said to be taking part in this year’s Children In Need Strictly Come Dancing special – and he has done nothing to quash the rumours.

In fact, speaking at this year’s TRIC Awards, Martin only added fuel to the fire.

He told the Daily Star: “I’m like a Ninja Mutant Hero Turtle – I just eat pizzas. Domino’s Mighty Meat. I’m the stomach of Domino’s, not the face of it.

“I should worry about what I eat because I had a health scare. I need to look after myself better.

“And certainly if I get this TV show later in the year. I’ll have to get super fit.”

Martin was 58 when he was left facing his mortality while fighting for his life from heart failure.

The telly favourite had mistaken his chest pains for long Covid and, by the time he was taken to hospital in April 2022, he had developed a deadly pericardial effusion.
