Paterson offers 24/7 assistance to help battle opioid addiction

PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) -- Mayor Andre Sayegh held a press conference announcing the availability of the RealFix Hotline, a 24/7 service that provides immediate assistance to those seeking addiction treatment.

Individuals may call 1-833-RealFix and will receive help regardless of insurance, ID, or legal status.

Often, RealFix can facilitate entry into treatment within 90 minutes.

Currently, RealFix is seeking additional doctors who are willing to accept teledoc appointments. The program also hopes to hire another full-time Social Worker of Substance Abuse or a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
