This summer was always going to be the test of his competence. So far I’d say he’s struggling. 4 weeks to go and I’d say we’re at least 8 players short. People can say the window has a long way to run, which it does, but it’s never ideal to be adding lots of players late in pre season or once the season has started. Certainly no panic but CG really needs to step up.
