To the editor: Character and judgment favors Biden

All the blather about President Biden’s unfitness for another term as president is just that — foolish rambling by his enemies and erstwhile friends. As the old saying goes: “with friends like these, who needs enemies?” There’s no question that advancing age and mental sharpness are areas of concern as far as President Biden is concerned. Ambitious leaders of the past faced the same criticism. Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Konrad Adenauer come to mind. Yet these men served valiantly and on the whole successfully despite the criticism from friend and foe alike. Could not the same be true of President Biden?
