Ten Hag takes new Dutch Man Utd coaches Van Nistelrooy and Hake out for dinner before England’s win over Netherlands

ERIK TEN HAG welcomed his new coaching staff to Manchester United with a dinner out in Cheshire.

The Red Devils boss headed out for some food alongside new coaches Ruud van Nistelrooy, 48, and Rene Hake, 52.

The three stopped for a bite at Italian restaurant La Famiglia.

United are continuing their reshuffle at Old Trafford since the arrival of minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

And Hake and Van Nistelrooy are two of the newest additions to the backroom staff for the Manchester giants.

The Dutch trio will be hoping they can build on Man Utd’s FA Cup success last season as they combine their footballing experience.

The football brains headed out for some food ahead of their home country’s Euro 2024 semi-final clash with England, leaving just in time to make it for kick off.

Unfortunately for the three coaches, they won’t have been able to enjoy the football all too much as they watched the Dutch bow out of the competition.

Xavi Simons’ early opener for the Netherlands was cancelled out by a first half Harry Kane penalty.

Before super sub Ollie Watkins made his small cameo count by netting a stunning 90th minute winner to book the Three Lions a spot in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final against Spain.

Ten Hag and his new coaching staff will have no time to dwell as it’s all hands on deck at Carrington already.

Manchester United players and staff have already returned for pre-season training with stars such as Harry Maguire, Mason Mount and Casemiro making their return after the break on Monday.

Coaching additions aren’t the only changes that have been going on at United this summer.

Execs have also been arriving to steer the club in a new direction.

Former Newcastle chief Dan Ashworth finally made his switch to Manchester as the club’s new sporting director earlier this month.

Ashworth is reportedly going to have overall responsibility for football performance, recruitment and operations at Man Utd.

New technical director Jason Wilcox, who joined the 20-time Premier League champions in April, will report to Ashworth.

The pair aren’t the only new faces in Ratcliffe’s new look set-up either.

Former Manchester City chief executive Omar Berrada is expected to arrive at the club later this month.
