A WOMAN revealed how she fell pregnant at just 14 and believes it was the best thing that ever happened to her.
Brianna Velasco, now 18, found out she was pregnant at just 14 years of age and welcomed her son into the world in July 2021.
Being such a young mother came with its struggles, but Brianna tells how she is as happy as she could have hoped.
On her unique story she said: “[Me and my boyfriend] met when I was 12 and he was 14
“Yes, we were young, cry about it,” she told viewers.
She said that at the time she was staying with her aunt and watching her cousin’s baby.
“The second I got pregnant I knew things were going to be hard.”
Originally from New Jersey, New York, USA, the brave teenage mum reveals how she became pregnant at such a young age.
“If it wasn’t for my son, I wouldn’t have accomplished so many things.

After experiencing all the usual symptoms, she had a gut feeling that she must be pregnant and decided to get a test.
“I was on the phone to my boyfriend one day and mentioned to him that my period hadn’t shown up.
“A week later, still nothing,” she said
Telling her aunt that she wanted to be left alone downstairs, Brianna was in fact taking a pregnancy test.
Claiming she was no longer welcome at home; Brianna believed it was best to leave her family home.
The teen mum and her partner decided to get their own apartment and prepare for their son’s arrival.
Despite the couple being overjoyed at their exciting announcement, they had to deal with some negativity along the way.
Overcoming some cynical scolding, Brianna gave birth to her son, Zaiyel, on July 27th, 2021.
Her inspiring pregnancy journey was posted to TikTok page and has since been seen nearly one million times.
Many users have taken to the comments to show their appreciation for Brianna’s journey.
One TikTok said: “So young but look at your new little family, so worth it!”
While another added: “I can’t even imagine what that was like for you, I love happy endings!”
She said: “I didn’t care anymore what people said or how many times they try to wish bad on me.
“We celebrated our pregnancy regardless of what people said.
“At 4:09am our sweet baby boy Zaiyel was born and at that moment nothing else in the world mattered.
“If it wasn’t for my son, I wouldn’t have accomplished so many things.
“People say having a baby at such a young age changes your life, maybe for the worse or the better, but mine was for the better.”
