Man didn't remember crashing, Lyon Co. deputies say

LYON COUNTY (KSNT) - A 20-year-old Lebo man was hospitalized via Life Star after a crash that resulted in suspected head injuries in Lyon County.

At 11:31 a.m. Lyon County Deputies, Lyon County Fire and EMS responded to the 1300 block of Road 280 for a report of a single-vehicle crash, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found a 2012 Jeep Wrangler with a single occupant. The driver was outside of the vehicle and had a suspected head injury, according to the sheriff's office.

"[The 20-year-old] could not recall the events leading up to the accident and was later transported from the scene by Life Star," Deputy Curtis Morse said in a press release.

The driver was told he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Deputies believed that the driver was traveling west before leaving the road in the south culvert. The driver then hit a drainage pipe under a field entrance disabling the vehicle and causing it to rotate 180 degrees, according to the press release.

Morse said in the press release that the incident is being investigated by the sheriff's office.
