COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - From festivals and live entertainment, to local home garden tours, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.

Columbus Crew Soccer Bash

McFerson Commons from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday

  • The Summer of Soccer Bash marks the start of an exciting stretch further showcasing Columbus as a Soccer City, highlighted by live music, soccer clinics, engaging activations, local tastes and more. It is free and open to the public.

Columbus Food Truck Festival

The Scioto Peninsula from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday

  • The 13th annual food truck festival returns to Downtown with a variety of food trucks to choose from, along with crafters, artisans, vintage exchange, live entertainment and more.

Columbus Book Festival

Main Library at 96 S. Grant Ave. and Topiary Park on Saturday and Sunday

  • The two-day book festival returns for its second year featuring 200-plus national and Columbus-based authors, panel discussions, author talks, book signings and more. The festival hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Free Kayak Day

Scioto River from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday

  • Enjoy a complimentary kayak, tandem kayaking and rentals for the day to experience the summer views from the Scioto River.

Columbus Commons at 8 p.m. on Saturday

  • Rapper Nas teams up with the Columbus Symphony to stage a symphonic rendition of “Illmatic,” one of the most revered albums in hip-hop history.

Merion Village Garden Tour

Merion Village from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday

  • Guests are invited to the 25th annual garden tour, featuring 12 locations to check out in Merion Village.

Olde Towne East Summer Tour of Homes 

1390 Bryden Rd. at noon Sunday

  • The annual tour will feature a showcase of the most beautiful and historically significant homes in the area. The tour is self-guided with shuttle stops available.

UPFAD 10th Annual All Disabilities Festival

Dorrian Green from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday

  • The festival will offer several fun activities through the day including live music, entertainment, contests, sensory-friendly activities and more. Admission is free and the first 200 attendees will get a free coupon at Tim Hortons.
