16-year-old arrested after fatal shooting at Oklahoma City motel

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, a teen has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting Wednesday evening.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, a teen has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting Wednesday evening.

Officials say officers responded to a motel near SW 34th St. and I-35 Service Rd. regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, 35-year-old Isai Vera. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

According to OKCPD, investigators were able to identify a 16-year-old girl who was with Vera at the motel at the time of the shooting. The teen was arrested on a complaint of Felony Murder and taken to the Oklahoma County Juvenile Detention Center.
