SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office says Robert Danko, who was selected as the new Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief on July 3, has been arrested following a domestic incident investigation. Danko, 44, Salem, faces multiple charges.
Deputies say Danko is charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. He was arraigned at Washington County Central Arraignment and was released.
On July 3, the Cambridge-Greenwich Police Department appointed Danko as Chief of the Department. He served 16 years in law enforcement up to that point.
