TCSO requested to investigate suspicious death after woman dies at Round Rock hospital

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) -- The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death after a woman died at a Round Rock hospital.

TCSO said in a release it got a call from Williamson County Justice of the Peace asking the sheriff's office to investigate because the woman lived in TCSO's jurisdiction.

According to the release, the woman, who was in her 40s, died at the hospital and had fractured bones as well as medical conditions.

TCSO immediately opened a case, and the investigation is ongoing.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
