Queen’s Park midfielder Ricky Waugh is heading out on loan to SPFL League 2 side Stirling Albion until January.
The 19-year-old joined the Spiders last season from Hibernian, where he gained experience playing in the UEFA Youth League, on a three-year contract with the former Scotland Schools’ internationalist captaining Queen’s B Team to the Reserve League title in his first campaign at the club.
Ricky, who could come up against one his brothers, Kevin on the pitch during his temporary transfer, as he is the captain of Spartans, featured in a number of first team squads last season and made his senior debut in the SPFL Trust Trophy tie at Bala Town.
Queen’s Park’s Director of Football Darren O’Donnell said: “Ricky has done really well for our B Team and the time is right for him to gain more experience at a senior level.
“Moving to Stirling on loan is a great opportunity for him to show what he can do already and to develop further.”
