Stirling Albion Signs Ricky Waugh

Stirling Albion is excited to announce the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Ricky Waugh on loan from Queen’s Park until January.

 

Waugh was part of the Hibs youth setup before joining Queen’s Park B in August 2023. During his tenure with the young Queen’s Park squad, he was captain of the side which won the SPFL Reserve League and earned a call-up to the Scotland Schools team. Waugh also made appearances in the Scottish Challenge Cup and UEFA Youth League.

 

Manager Alan Maybury expressed his excitement about the new signing, stating: “Ricky is a young player who has done very well at U18 and B team level and will make the next step with us on loan from Queens Park.

 

“He is a talented midfielder and will add to what we are trying to build at Stirling.

 

“I’d like to thank everyone at Queens Park and his agent for helping make this signing happen.”
