Temperatures tonight fall into the lower 70s to upper 60s. A few strong storms possible tonight, south of I-70. Light winds for tonight from the East. A partly cloudy sky that will begin to clear out as we head into tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow temperatures will be slightly hotter, expecting to top off in the upper 90s. Heat indices tomorrow near 102 degrees by the early afternoon. With little to no relief from heat for the next several days. Light winds out of the south will only help bring in hotter weather for this weekend.

Our next several days look to be mostly dry as mostly sunny weather dominates the Central Plains. By Sunday we are looking at temperatures in the lower 100s. Heat indices near 110 degrees by the start of next week. Find ways to stay cool as high temperatures will linger into Tuesday. Finally a relief from the heat arriving after a cooler front on Tuesday night. Next rain chances arriving Wednesday.
