Hudson Falls man arrested for allegedly threatening neighbor with knives
HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Hudson Falls man has been arrested following a menacing investigation, according to police. Norman Ramsey, 53, is facing multiple charges.
Ramsey is accused of threatening his neighbor with two kitchen knives, allegedly telling her repeatedly that he was going to stab and kill her. During the investigation, the victim told Hudson Falls Police that on July 6, Ramsey approached the woman outside her River Street home and asked to borrow her phone.
When the neighbor questioned the nature of the call Ramsey intended to make, he reportedly became enraged, returned to his house, and came back to confront her while brandishing the knives. He was taken into custody on Saturday.
Ramsey was charged with first-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon due to a previous conviction for similar charges. He was arraigned at the Washington County Centralized Arraignment Court before being released on his own recognizance.
