Seasonable sunshine returns to Central Ohio, how long the warming trend lasts

Sunshine and warmer weather has returned to Central Ohio! Temperatures are pretty typical for this time of year with numbers in the mid 80s. However, the warming trend is going to continue as we head into the weekend.

Sunshine and warmer weather has returned to Central Ohio! Temperatures are pretty typical for this time of year with numbers in the mid 80s. However, the warming trend is going to continue as we head into the weekend.

Skies tonight remain fairly clear. There will be some showers off to our west overnight. Most of them will stay out of the area, but one or two could briefly move into Central Ohio. We're starting off clear going into Friday.

More sunshine is here to end off the work week. We are adding a few chances for one or two showers for the afternoon. Those showers could develop into isolated thunderstorms as well. The thermometer will climb into the upper 80s with a few of us pushing into the 90s.

To start off the weekend, the 90s will be a lot steadier across Central Ohio. Skies remain sunny throughout the day. Humidity will gradually start to creep in with "feels-like" values pushing a few degrees above the actual temperature.

Both humidity and the heat builds by the end of the weekend and start of next week. Temperatures are closer to the mid 90s with humidity making it feel closer to triple digits. With that setup, spotty afternoon showers & storms will be a little steadier for the start of next week.

A cold front sweeps through on Tuesday that brings better chances for storms. Temperatures will gradually cool into the lower 80s by Thursday with much lower humidity as well.
