US expands control of land sales to foreigners at more military sites

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The U.S. plans to broaden the Treasury committee's authority to review land sales near military sites where foreigners are the buyers.

This expansion will grant the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) the power to review land sales near 56 additional military sites, increasing the total number to 227.
