Mesh, Metallic and Red-Hot Shoe Colorways Were Trending at ‘Descendants: The Rise of Red’ Premiere With Rita Ora, Brandy & More

Disney is set to release “Descendants: The Rise of Red” on July 12. This marks the fourth film within the franchise since the first movie was released in 2015. The musical is a spin-off to the previous trilogy, with Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker as the new leading actresses. While old and new Disney stars joined at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, Calif. on July 10 to celebrate the film, some slipped into eye-catching footwear. 

Stars like China Anne McClain and Rita Ora arrived at the premiere wearing envious heels like pointed-toe pumps and strappy sandals, some dressed in vibrant tones and metallic finishes. The red carpet was graced by several  glamorous footwear silhouettes, hailing from top labels like Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Sam Edelman.

Kylie Cantrall

Kylie Cantrall, the lead in the upcoming Disney film, slipped into a pair of red Sam Edelman pumps. The fiery heels featured a pointed toe and a spotted sheer mesh upper. A tulle skirt layered the heel panel, brushing the floor next to the stiletto heel that was about 4 inches tall.

Grace Narducci

Grace Narducci shined with a set of silver kitten heels. The pumps featured a metallic finish that covered the leather upper, which was composed of a pointed toe and a slingback strap. The set brought slight height to the look with a stiletto heel that was about 2 inches tall.

Brandy

Brandy wore a pair of gold Louboutin sandals. The metallic heels featured a braided design that encompassed the straps and surrounded the almond toe. The pair was supported by a stiletto heel that was about 5 inches tall. The Fatima sandals are from the designer’s Walk a Mile in My Shoes collection, which was co-created with Sabrina & Idris Elba.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora completed her look with a pair of red satin Jimmy Choo sandals. The Minny heels featured a satin upper showcased through a barely-there silhouette with a thin strap along the toe and ankle. The set was supported by a stiletto heel that was about 4 inches tall. 

China Anne McClain

China Anne McClain sparkled as she walked the red carpet wearing a set of crystal-embellished pumps. The silver-toned heels featured a bow detail that sat against the vamp, just before the pointed toe. The ankle strap supported the height coming from the metallic heel that was about 4 inches tall.
