Hunter King & Tyler Hynes Promote Hallmark's NFL Christmas Movie at TCA Tour During Day Off From Filming!
Hallmark Channel’s biggest movie of the year is going to be Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story and stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes are ready to get fans excited for it!
Hunter and Tyler took a break from filming in Kansas City to attend Hallmark’s panel at the Summer 2024 Television Critics Association Press Tour on Thursday morning (July 11) at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.
They were joined by co-stars Ed Begley Jr. and Diedrich Bader.
Holiday Touchdown is being filmed entirely on location in Kansas City, Missouri, including at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. This marks the first time that a Hallmark movie will use the stadium as a filming location.
In Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, Alana Higman (King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest. Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfathers (Begley) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.
Tyler also appeared on a panel for his upcoming original movie trilogy The Groomsmen, which will premiere this fall on the streaming service Hallmark+. He stars alongside Jonathan Bennett and B.J. Britt in the movie. The Groomsmen trilogy takes viewers on the journey of a lifetime as three best friends come together to celebrate their wedding days in the breathtaking destinations of Greece, Italy and Bulgaria.
