After a Redditor asked how to get rid of her strawberry legs, user Manamesjeff explained that she was also burdened with red bumps.

“Hey girl! I have the same issue and lotion alone won’t cut it,” she said.

A frugal find, however, helps her fight against it.

“I use a glycolic acid – I buy The Ordinary because it’s cheap – dump it in a spray bottle, and spray down my whole body after a shower,” she said.

“Once it dries, I lotion up,” she continued.

She was especially impressed with how fast it worked its magic.

“Give it a week or less and boom, problem solved,” she said.

“I couldn’t believe it was that easy.”

You can try using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner, which is available for $13.

The water-based toner can be used to even skin tone.

Meant for all skin types, the find is composed of glycolic acid, aloe barbadensis leaf water, panax ginseng root extract, and Tasmania lanceolata fruit/leaf extract.

While she is a fan of The Ordinary, she explained that almost any affordable glycolic acid product should work.

“I’d go cheap, but not Temu cheap, you know?” she said.

“Go to the drugstore and buy the cheapest one there,” she advised.

Others were also eager to try her trick.

“Dang, I need to try this. I’ve gotten them to at least be lighter since I started waxing, but unfortunately even waxing isn’t perfect so I’m going to try your routine,” said one Redditor.

“I need to try this! I’ve had the same problem since I could shave my legs – age 10 and I’m now 31 – and never found anything that helps,” said another user.

“I thought I was destined to stay like this! I really hope it works!” they continued.

Another reader thought one item in the routine would be a game-changer.

“Oh my god, I’ve been using a cotton ball and wishing it was easier to apply. Buying a spray bottle today,” they said.
