Jason Kelce Really Loved Meeting the Royals
The former NFL player gushed about the Prince and Princess post-Eras Tour.
Looks like Killa Trav isn’t the only Kelce brother who thinks the Royals are “doing it right.” At the 35th Annual American Century Championship on Thursday, retired NFL player Jason Kelce also revealed himself to be a monarchy stan. In an interview with People, the former Philadelphia Eagles player recounted his time spent in the VIP section of the Eras Tour last month with Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, calling it a “nice interaction.” “They were lovely, and it was surreal to even be in their presence,” he added.
Kelce was taken with Princess Charlotte in particular, who apparently was holding her own with the other (famous) adults in the room. “I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I have three girls now. She had fire to her,” he said of the nine-year-old. “She was asking questions. That was the most electric part.” Remind me next time I want to impress a member of the Kelce family to hit ‘em with a barrage of questions!
“They encourage them to take the lead in a conversation,” Kelce added, impressed with Prince William’s parenting skills and calling it “such a good parent move.” Hopefully Kate Middleton can finally get some sleep at night knowing her child-rearing methods are approved by an American football player. Exciting!
