Police arrest man going twice the speed limit on the motorway

A 20-year-old was arrested for going 120 km over the speed limit, police said on Friday.

Police said that the man was arrested on the Limassol-Nicosia highway in the early hours of Friday. He was going 229 km/h instead of 100km/h.

The man is expected to appear in Nicosia district court later in the day.
